    It is, an object has rotational symmetry if there is a centre point around which the object is turned (rotated) a certain number of degrees and the object looks the same. The number of positions in which the object looks exactly the same is called the order of the symmetry.

      Yes, but are we imposing symmetry on the seed head in our brains? If measured, I think it would be a slightly different number of degrees between the points, and the ‘legs’ themselves are subtly curved, differently.
